Amitava brings nearly 20 years of experience in the NHS in managing clinical studies to help researchers conduct research more efficiently. As a former principal investigator in both the NHS and commercial sector, he has seen first-hand the incredible work of operational teams. That’s why he created AscensionQ – a platform designed specifically for the everyday heroes who play a critical role in delivering research.

Ash Mahmud, with over 20 years of experience, revolutionizes business operations through innovative solutions and proven business practices. He leverages extensive experience from various industries to develop dynamic, cutting-edge SaaS products for the clinical research sector, introducing new business models and concept. He excels at creating a vision for digital transformation and making it a reality. With a bottom-up approach, Ash works closely with teams across the organization to streamline processes and enhance the customer experience.

A veteran of transforming business across multiple industries
Lauren is a clinical academic physician in clinical pharmacology and serves as an Academic Director of an NIHR Clinical Research Facility. She has a passion for early-phase clinical trials and over 10 years of experience in the design, conduct, and analysis of these trials. She has further co-developed a machine learning approach to identify disease and prescribing patterns for those with complex healthcare needs, and is currently working on a conversational AI system to support safer prescribing.
